"When Natalie and Simon Fuller (Creator of American Idol) were married in Napa, California, in 2008, they did so under an 80-year-old olive tree that was a gift from Stephania Kallos and Abigail Turin of KallosTurin, the architects who designed their new home in Los Angeles. "They bought us the tree as a wedding present and craned it up to Napa," explains Natalie, who wore a custom-made "old Hollywood" Roland Mouret gown. "It was built into the deck where we got married. Then they brought it back and we planted it in our yard. So," she laughs, "the tree was at our wedding."..."

Angelina Jolie buys Brad Pitt a 200 year old Olive Tree for Valentines Day

What a great gift!!!

The most original Valentine’s Day gift we've heard of. 

Angelina Jolie has reportedly presented her long time partner with a very unusual V-Day gift giving Brad Pitt a 200-year old olive tree that she now plans to plant at their French mansion.

Ange bought from a nursery called The English Garden Centre in Valbonne, near their house. It’s a very special tree and cost her a fortune,” an insider told UK’s Sun  saying the tree cost no less than $18,500.

Symbolism is all it is?

Olive tree is the symbol of spiritual richness, while an olive branch symbolizes peace, unity, abundance and glory.
